Lace, sheer, nude, lingerie and nylon is huge this season. Here is a look to keep this trend this season without looking borderline showgirl. It’s never attractive to be too ‘showy’ so if you are wearing a lace top, then wear leggings, if you’re wearing sheer black leggings, cover up everything above the waist. For this look, I’d recommend booties.
Yes, it’s pretty cold outside so grab a boyriend blazer with strong shoulders or a sequin one. Pick out some strong jewelry and you can look edgy this season.
In my eyes, these pieces can never go wrong in my book. A quality, well made sweater or knit thrown on with a nice sports coat, slimming pants with great shoes. Can you see a professionally wearing a look like this here? Never.

Leather is something that is popular every fall and winter like black. Is it something you want to splurge on? I would say yes. If you want something super trendy with buckles, extra zippers, studs, etc. then no. Would I recommend getting it for the season? Yes. Bellevue and the Pacific Northwest is already getting wet. Leather jackets do keep you warm and dry (for the most part) so I do recommend it. All in all, leather is a relatively classy piece of item that can be an investment piece.

Not in terms of finance, but with wardrobing… Now that it’s finally fall 2009, what are some items that you men are going to need? Some real good outerwear or jacket. Outerwear can be great for all you lazy men that don’t want to try to put effort in putting an outfit together. (women too) The outerwear is like a disguise to make your look complete. Never go for cheap outerwear unless it’s a trendy jacket. Outerwear is an investment that will last you. Poor quality outerwear will show through after it’s first visit to the dry cleaners. Quality in outerwear is key!
It has come to my attention (again) that the Eastside is not a very walking friendly city. It has grown to depend more on pubic transportation compared to previous years and possibly biking for some of us, but other than that driving is our primary form of transportation, am i wrong?
Therefore why is it so hard to spot heels? Women are all wearing flats. The only flat sporters that I approve of are those in retail or any form of job that requires standing for long hours or senior citizens.

O-U-T. That means all you men have to get it together and realize that it is stylish to wear leg fitting and forming and flattering denim rolled up with hightops.
Try it and wear it confidently. You are probably squealing right now like a girl, but if you were tough you’d be grinning, eager to get your fall pair of jeans. Wear it with a trench coat and a scarf.

We don’t see many suspenders and tophats around here on the Eastside. If anything Capital Hill is all about this Broadway actor look, but do you think you can handle this?

An outfit like this is very complete. Would a techy Expedia or Microsoft employee rock it? Probably not. It’s not for everyone. To pull off this outfit, there must be a bit of confidence in that man and possibly some bravery.
Neutral hues like heather gray and off whites on the top with a bold, burgundy wine colored tie with slimming colored pants that are rolled up with classic loafers for a Sartorialist look. To finish the ensemble put on a neutral colored sports jacket.
