An Attempt At My Annual NYC Shopping Trip

After moving back to Bellevue from NYC I try to go back every year.

This year happened to be Grandpa’s 80th Birthday so I went earlier than anticipated. I was hoping to be there for Fashion’s Night Out or Barney’s Warehouse Sale, but missed both shopping events.

Anyways, I packed lightly hoping that I’d be able to do some major shopping days before the party.

Unfortunately, I failed to find something which left me no choice, but to literally pick something out within 10 minutes at H&M on 34th and 7th (which was the only store open @9am) on my way to catch the LIRR train to go east.

@LNAclothing Fall 2010 Lookbook

LNA was founded in the summer of 2007 by California natives, Lauren Alexander and April Leight. Started with the simple idea of creating the perfect men’s tee for women, LNA began as a basic T-shirt line that focused on fit, color, and the perfect cotton. That Summer, the first collection launched at Barneys New York, Madison, and Henri Bendel.

After receiving press in magazines such as Vogue and Nylon, along with a celebrity fan base that included Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton, Alexander and Leight decided that it was time to expand the line. “It was a natural progression for us”, says Leight. “Our idea behind the line has always been to create perfect basics with some edge”, says Alexander.

August means Pre-Fall, that means Zara August Lookbook 2010

Zara Man and Woman is a “I DIE” look, as Rachel Zoe would quote. Even though summer’s not over you can’t deny that the weather already feels like fall. Therefore I will go ahead and post these images.

The Zara Man is looking sharper than the Woman’s. I have to say it reminds me of Dior, Chloe and YSL.

All this means is, I need to save money for next week’s NYC trip.

Retailers are In and Out @BelleCollection Bellevue Square

It’s been a while since I’ve visited the mall and was surprised to see all the new stores coming in and some going out and others playing musical chairs.

Let’s begin by welcoming Report Shoes’ first retail store here in Bellevue, WA. The headquarters is just down the street in Factoria.

Martin+Osa, and Movado have vanished. Who will take over these spaces? Not to mention there is a huge vacant space where the old Eddie Bauer store was previously located.
