Girl Power Hour Makeover Session Avec Moi!
As posted before, I had the honor of dressing two girls from the February Girl Power Hour event at Banana Republic. My fabulous ladies were Lucy Bang and Chelsea Olsen.
Lucy works in HR at KPMG and Chelsea is an architect. I tried to implement their lifestyles into their new looks.
Tell me what you think!
The first image is Lucy (before) on the left right after her hair makeover from Gene Juarez.
How Will I Style My GPH Winner?
The Lucky Winner(s) (I have the honor of dressing 2 ladies) of the Girl Power Hour Event Tonight will be styled in Banana Republic.
Unfortunately, the fact that Banana Republic is a lifestyle brand, there are only so many looks you can create.
Hopefully I can work something out that doesn’t look “SO Banana” and that it will look more modern, bold and forward than the conservatism that Banana is known for.
Either way, come hang out with the ladies at Girl Power Hour at Banana Republic in Downtown Seattle.
Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 Fashion’able’ Gear
Tomorrow is the Opening Ceremony for the Vancouver Winter Olympics. So close, yet so far. Close enough to go to Vancouver, but waiting at the border for hours doesn’t make it worth it at all.
To celebrate the Vancouver Olympics, Ralph Lauren did a great job with the gear. They’re not as tacky as the ones on the official website, but is wearable for the season.
Is anyone going to rock some VANCITY Olympic Gear?
Tis the Season for Nicole Richie
She’s rising in publicity again due to her new clothing line called Winter Kate.
“Winter Kate – the middle names of Nicole’s daughter Harlow-features pieces that range from edgy: the little sexy leather jacket – to romantic: slip dresses and camisoles.
The Spring 2010 collection reflects her love of ethereal flowing clothes: easy to wear, simple, yet romantic and feminine at the same time. They also reflect Nicole’s love of vintage and classic- with a modern ease that allows pieces like the bed jackets and kimonos or shells to be worn with jeans or cocktail dresses.
The Price for a Star Studded Front Row
How much does it cost to get a celebrity filled front row at your fashion show?
Well, Fashionista drops it down with the numbers… check it out.

I’m not sure how accurate it is, but they must be based off something to create this numerical figure.
But I do think that it depends on whom the brand is. Dolce & Gabbana likes to put bloggers (ie: Bryanboy) in the front row… so I think it varies on the target market of the designers’ audience.
