Made a visit to @senanyc ‘s Garment District Office

If you don’t know her, just a FYI: I’ve posted several articles on SENA.

While I was in NY, I visited SENA at her factory (which happens to be in the same building as Christian Louboutin). Major awesome.

She gave me a tour of her factory in her cynical tone of voice which is too sarcastic for me to respond to, but I loved it and love her. The image to the left is rolls of the fabrics that she is using for her current collection.

An Attempt At My Annual NYC Shopping Trip

After moving back to Bellevue from NYC I try to go back every year.

This year happened to be Grandpa’s 80th Birthday so I went earlier than anticipated. I was hoping to be there for Fashion’s Night Out or Barney’s Warehouse Sale, but missed both shopping events.

Anyways, I packed lightly hoping that I’d be able to do some major shopping days before the party.

Unfortunately, I failed to find something which left me no choice, but to literally pick something out within 10 minutes at H&M on 34th and 7th (which was the only store open @9am) on my way to catch the LIRR train to go east.

Just got back from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Home of the Cultured Arts of Mexico, its a place to see the traditional part of the country that is hard to find in Cancun or Cabo.

The worst photographer (my boyfriend) took this picture of my girlfriends and I in Old Town, south of the boardwalk. I look absolutely preggo, but I assure you it’s the wind! Got a super good deal to stay at the Sheraton, but it wasn’t until I got there that the weather reports were right and it actually rained… in the evenings…alot.

Zara’s BIGGEST Tease…

I got totally excited to see that Zara will be available online… in countries other than the States…

Have you signed my petition? I’ve only asked one hundred and one times… :)

Wondergirls @followWG in Seattle (with 2AM)

For those of you who don’t know the Wonder Girls or have no idea why I’m even writing about them… let me clarify:

The Wonder Girls is Korea’s present day Spice Girls and Perez Hilton is crazy about them. And in efforts to make this blog more personable, I thought I share my personal experience and put a fashion twist to it!

Thanks to my friends in NY for the tickets. The girls had fun!

2am was their opener

And the show began…

Let’s see what they wore

Finally Wore the @asos Dress

I had bought a package from Asos for my Birthday and wore one for the party and saved one for later which I finally wore over the weekend for a wedding at Bear Creek Country Club in Woodinville, WA. (not sure how happy my bf will be about blasting his pix)

[dress: ASOS and shoes: TOPSHOP]

I still think it looks better on the model because it sits on her body better.

Success!

Petitioning. Praying. Please Bring Zara Here!

Oy! in Canada (Vancouver, BC) for Memorial Day Weekend

Vancouver B.C.  was real quiet over the weekend. I’m sure a lot of people went up because you know it’s just ‘something to do, right?’

Even though the trip is just 3 hours from Bellevue, it’s easy to forget that Canada is a whole different country. What I mean by that is the street parking signs are another language, many of the stores are American and the Asians are all so Asian! I feel like a complete outsider! :)

I know that Vancouver BC has a lot of tourists and it’s great to see such diversity (if diversity means Asians and non-Asian Canadians).

Downtown Bellevue 3 Year Anniversary

Congrats @dtbellevue for their 3 year anniversary! Posting the latest news on all the developments of Downtown Bellevue with the latest shopping, happy hour and events. Michael Brandt and Lea Lo are the pioneers of Bellevue blogging and have been a great mentor to me.

Their party took place May 25, 2010 at the new Avalon Towers 15th Floor with Barrio/Heavy Restaurant Group catering.

To go along with one of the things I want to push for, here is what I wore.

Zara Blazer, Zara skirt, Club Monaco Sweater, Zara bag, Shoes.com Thighhighs

Here are options
