Last night was the David Meister fall collection showing at the Bravern’s Neiman Marcus. David is a young designer with a keen, skill level for clothing construction.
He already has his collection in major department stores nationwide including our very own Nordstrom, as well as Saks, Bergdorf Goodman and Lord & Taylor. He knows how to find comfort yet elegance to work together.
All of his pieces fit quite comfortably and is sophisticated. David believes in well made pieces that can work from season to season. (That’s just perfect for this economic state).
His current collection has lots of blues and greens, one shoulder is huge (he says), the leopard has made its acceptance into the Meister line and not to forget the velvet. David made a comment which confirmed my thoughts which was “velvet comes in and out and this season it is in.”
