Did You Get Your Thigh High
Okay. So I’ve been talking about thigh high boots for quite some time now. For the most part they are relatively pricey.
The cheapest I’ve seen were at Southcenter’s Cathy Jeans? for about $120. TopShop starts at $450 and there is no doubt that this is a super trendy item.
Will they last until F/W 2010? Maybe after it gets more trickled down into Wal-Mart …so yes, I think it would last one more Fall season.
RTW + Alterations VS Custom Made
A question from a reader was “Is it much cheaper to buy ready-to-wear and have it altered or have something custom made?”
What are your thoughts? Is it cheaper to just buy RTW and have some minor alterations or have something custom made?
To answer your question, there are various considerations or factors that must be made. Are we talking about simple pieces like sweaters, t-shirts and pants or something more complicated like 3-piece suiting?
