admin In efforts to be more economy sensitive, I think it would be wise to share with you where to get some kick ass shoes here on the Eastside. Before I begin, let me explain that even though Nordstrom is known for it’s shoe departments, I have a hard time finding anything there, only because I know that in only in a matter of months I will see something like that at the Rack or online for cheaper.
Therefore, my luck is at DSW Warehouse in Factoria. Most people don’t seem to be aware of their shoe selection. Go visit them. You will be amazed. Their backroom has clearance items for up to 80% off the sale price. For you women, you will find some great fall boots and the men, there are so many pairs of shoes to choose from.

Agreed, it’s worth going through the back clearance rooms and giving it a proper look-through. I was able to find a really cute pair of Calvin Klein patent leather flats that were on super-duper sale a while back.
The men’s section isn’t as good as the women’s section, but its worth checking out. Last time I went they were fully stockeddd

Yes, I was lucky then. Usually there are not good opportunities for men but I still have (and I use them on a daily basis) a pair of Tommy Hilfiger shoes. I don´t remember how much did they cost but maybe around $25 two years ago.
Definitely a good place to find (women) shoes. Uh, and check out their customer card (not credit card). They send you very interesting coupons up to 50% off sometimes. And a birthday gift.

Yes! their DSW member card is nice. Sometimes its a miss there, that’s why you have to go visit every now and then
I appreciate DSW more than I should. Yes, their men’s shoes is a little more disappointing. I went there this evening. I went a little shopping happy. Clearance section felt like being in a candy store.
I really love their new store layout. Before it was a dull store now, its more LIVELY!
Lots of more women’s shoes though.
Confession: since most of the shoes for men do NOT have my size or style…. [ I tried even in the kids section ], I bought some pretty good stuff from the women’s section. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
