Eco-Lavish est Lavishe.

October 13th, 2009

eco-lavishWhen you think about Pacific Northwest ‘fashion,’ what comes to mind? Eco-Friendly Fashion. Well, when you think of eco-friendly fashion you may think of everything polar from stylish, but to prove you wrong Half Past Lavish Events put togther their 2nd annual Eco-Lavish Fashion Show to break all the stereotypes of what Eco-fashion and designers are perceived as.

I am one of those people that were misperceived in thinking that all styles were just bland and boring, but it was Lizzie Parker of Issaquah that proved me wrong. I never underestimated Lizzie’s fashion sense, but she blew me away at the show as the guest fashion designer.

lizzie parker eco-lavishWhen visiting her atelier, her styles were minimalist, european and very conservative. This season she is bringing something different. Something more flashy, trendy and yes we’re talking sequin and great dip dyed pieces.

They are not only affordable, eco-conscious, but at the same time stylish to mix with all your fall essentials. It was very breathetaking to see an ec0-friendly designer to come strong with very trendy pieces.

The overall event was very well organized and well staffed which was great to see. The turnout was amazing and the audience loved the show. It’s nice to see the eco-designers make it’s way to the forefront with great lines. How can the Pacific Northwest proceed without its eco-fashion?
