I wrote a previous post about all these things going on at Bellevue Square with a pondering question of what the Vault was. Oh My Gash! I figured out what the Vault is and I can’t close my dropped jaw.
So David Lawrence wants out and the Vault moves in. Are you kidding? Really? Bebe’s not at the mall anymore, but the Vault is coming in?
I am having a difficult time comprehending or making any sense in this, can someone help?
Okay, you’re probably wondering by this point, what VAULT is. Boy, let me be the one to tell you.
We are talking Guido Attraction. Want to know what a guido is? I first became exposed to this term when I lived in NY and all these guido-esque boys from Staten Island and Strong Island (guido for Long Island) were partying it up in the City. (click that guido img for a better idea. you will die laughing).
We are looking at Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, sparkle, and cleavage. I even wrote a past post about where NOT to get graphic T’s and these are the labels I were referring to…
They are sister stores with Bad Reputation in Seattle. I think I just tasted throw up in my mouth. Check out the Vault-About Us section. I can’t even figure out how they can be represented here in the Eastside. Is there a new Guido crowd that just migrated into the Eastside that I didn’t get a memo for?
Like hello! Someone clue me in. I don’t get it!!!
Dear Mr. Kemper and of the Bellevue Collection Staff, is this a way of representing the classiness of the Bellevue Square transformation? I was ecstatic to see Michael Kors, Hugo Boss and Burberry make it’s presence in the Nordstrom wing, but there is just something utterly wrong about bringing this retailer here to Bellevue.
Am I the only one that feels this way? May all the hate comments come in. Let me hear your thoughts!
(I don’t want to see cleavage and bikini tops and sunglasses being worn indoors take over the Eastside, do you? Please tell me if I’m a hater…I just want honesty)

I am not shocked at all. People in Seattle can usually point out an Eastsider by their tribal tattoo, Affliction shirt and Tap Out hat. I’ve gone out to enough bars in Kirkland to verify this. Yes! There is a market on the Eastside for stuff like this.
I completely agree with you. The addition of The Vault will not help to elevate the Bellevue Collection but will instead bring it down a notch. If I’m not mistaken, I believe the new store will go in the “teen wing”, aiming to attract a younger audience. I just hope this isn’t a sign of desperation from BC.
OMG! I’m appalled by this “guido look”. I’ve seen it many times in the east coast but please, NOT HERE!! This is Bellevue not Kirkland. I think guys/girls that dress like that are hideous. I mean besides my idea of fugly UGG boots, this is my second most worst. I guess it gives me more of a passion to post more hideous guido pics. LOL
Now, I agree with Mango’s comment in the previous post. The Bravern is trying to separate their high end retail shoppers from the “commoners”.
Hahahaha
“Is there a new Guido crowd that just migrated into the Eastside that I didn’t get a memo for?”
You know… I had this friend who dated a Russian from Bellevue – apparently he had some like… Russian “mafia” group over there? Those guys…. kinda looked like guidos.
No Way!!! Eastsiders dont wear the tribal tattoo :( I don’t want there to be a market like this on the Eastside:( poop
My point exactly. It’s unfortunate to see such stooping down this low for what I think in my opinion is in desperate seek to occupy all that retail space. BC was on a winning streak and now all of a sudden SLAMMED with this nonsense. I am disgusted.
I’m not hating on guidos. Don’t mistaken me. I have friends that are guido, not to the extreme of that pix above but the fact that I am not aware of this market here and in addition to may be not wanting that market to rise is where my frustration lies.
The Eastside was more sophisticated (I thought…)
SOme truth to that, yes.
That’s just comforting… can’t wait to see more ceiling punching steroided dudes roaming around Bellevue.
