There will be a Nordstroms trunk show for the Fall 2009 Collection tomorrow, Tuesday, July 28^th from 10 am – 4 pm in their Collectors department.

The Gucci Fall 09 collection is to die for. It’s glam and fierce! You have to check out their new ready to wear pieces on the 2nd floor.

Yesterday, I went to the Salon Shoes department in the Bellevue Nordstroms and asked for their thigh high Gucci boots which is part of the collection (not the trunk show) and was sad to find out that only Chicago Nordstroms will be carrying it.

So far in the denim world, Bellevue recently added Seven for All Mankind and the soon to be True Religion in Bellevue Square to their shopping list.

In addition there will be a DNA 2050 at the Bravern offering savvy consumers the opportunity to shop from a unique mix of over 30 denim brands, such as True Religion, 7 For All Mankind, PRPS, Citizens of Humanity, AG Adriano Goldschmied, Paige Premium Denim, Joe’s Jeans, Rock & Republic and J Brand, in addition to fashion denim lines, such as Siwy, Notify, Mih, and Justin Timberlake’s William Rast.  Hard to find specialty denim brands including Jean Shop, Blue Notch, Denim and Thread, Stitch’s, Corpus and vintage Levi’s are also offered.

is a collection by Forever 21. It is my current Zara alternative… I’m trying to be optimistic that one day Zara will make its mark here in the NW. Meanwhile, Twelve by Twelve has all the unique-affordable pieces. Its more expensive than the Forever 21 brand with pieces averaging at $48.
